Freedom From Life's Hurts, Habits, & Hang-ups

Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues controlling your life. This is a 12-Step program paired with 8 Recovery Principles which are taken from the Beatitudes found in the Bible.
Through Christ and this ministry, you can experience lasting healing from life’s Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups!

Meetings

FRIDAY'S 7-9pm

94 New Salem Street
Laconia, NH 03246

HURTS

All of us have been hurt at some point in life. These hurts range from abandonment, to bullying, abuse, neglect, cheated, betrayed, and the list goes on. It is time to allow God to bring healing where there is hurt.

HABITS

Any form of habit/addiction that we use to escape or cope with the stresses of life. (Drugs, Alcohol, Food, Gambling, Anger, Sex, Self-Harm, and others!) It is time to allow God to break these chains!

HANG-UPS

Hang-Ups are patterns of unhealthy emotions with distorted core beliefs towards our circumstances, God, ourselves, and others. It is time to let the word of God change the way we think!

Celebrate Recovery History

CR began in 1991 at the Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA and is now a ministry in over 31,000 churches world-wide!
Locally, CR started through a collaboration of 5 different churches that united with a vision of seeing our city and its citizens healed from all issues that control our lives.
In addition, Celebrate Recovery is not just growing in churches, but in recovery houses, rescue missions, universities, and prisons around the world.
We are a part of something much larger than one church’s Celebrate Recovery. We are part of a movement that God is blessing.

Join A CR Step Study!

In addition to our Friday night meetings, you can  join a step-study which is a smaller group outside of the normal meeting time for Celebrate Recovery. Within this small group you, along with others who commit, will take a deep dive into your past hurts with the goal of understanding certain tendencies, habits, and beliefs that developed and shaped who you are now. With the power of Christ, and the help of others on your journey, you will then be able to break habitual chains, discover new ways of thinking, and come to a place of healing through forgiveness and amends.
